Tired of Spammy Emails Offering You Free Things? Find Out Who it is by Running an Email Search

Nobody wants to get any more spam messages than they already do. Even with the greatest, most state-of-the-art spam filters and screeners, there are always a few that somehow manage to slip through the cracks. What is truly frustrating about them is that these are the spams that are most likely to trick you into opening them, too.
After all, spam is a form of marketing (albeit, an unethical, intrusive one). Therefore, it is sent out not necessarily to be a nuisance as much it is to try to convince a certain number of people to follow a link and buy a product or service. The reason that people continue with it so much isn't that it is incredibly effective as much as it is because it is cheap and effective enough.
If even a tiny percentage of the people who receive the message manage to respond in the way suggested by the message, the spam campaign is considered a success because it usually doesn't take much more than a sale or two to pay for the entire email blast.
This being said, spammers still want to attract as many people as they can to open the emails so that they will potentially follow the links and spend their money. Therefore, they make their subject lines and visible addresses very "normal" looking. They try to convince you that they are your bank, a company with whom you do business, a large company with which you are familiar and who you might trust, or they may even try to convince you that they're a friend of yours.
To be sure, whenever you receive a questionable message or one from an address you don't recognize, just pop over to a good email search site and find out the name registered to the address. This is usually enough information to give you an idea whether it's someone with whom you truly are familiar, or if it's just someone trying to get you to buy replica watches, prescription drugs, or register at an uncertified online university. You'll save yourself frustration, and protect your computer from viruses in mere seconds.
